Heather Kuzara (she/her), BSN, RN, CHSE, is the Director of Education, Training, and Simulation at BAYADA Home Health Care.  Heather’s nursing career began in 2003 as a pediatric nurse in the medical surgical and pediatric cardiothoracic ICU settings.  In 2005, she transitioned out of the hospital and into the home, where she became a member of the BAYADA team.  She began working as a high-tech field nurse with adult and pediatric home care clients and found that this transition was pivitol in her career as a nurse.  BAYADA provided Heather with the opportunity and exposure to grow her leadership skills and hold multiple operational and clinical leadership positions throughout her tenure.  In her role as the Director of Simulation Operations, Heather’s proudest achievement was growing the simulation program to 78 simulation labs with over 100 simulation educators nationally, and the development of the trachesostomy, ventilator, and caregiver education curriculum for the simulation program.

In her current role, Heather leads the educational program designs for BAYADA’s Skilled Nursing Practice, with her main focus on building and growing the Nurse Residency Program for new graduate nurses.
